Reports To Estimating and Fulfillment Supervisor Position Summary The Estimator creates and updates existing quotes for customers based on customer requirements, Great Northern capabilities, vendor limitations and availability. To perform all aspects of the Estimator functions in accordance with GNC service, quality, accuracy and efficiency standards. Work in cooperation with sales, design, production, and customer service to offer alternative solutions. Clearly understands how orders flow through GNC-Racine, follows procedures and consistently performs the daily operations this position requires. Responsibilities Estimate multi component projects using industry specific software. Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product. Calculate and verify product pricing. Request pricing information from outside approved vendors for miscellaneous materials. Requirements Proficient in Excel. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest, circumference, and volume. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Hours Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Overtime as necessary.
