As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to concerns, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. + Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns. + Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic patterns; request appropriate identification and/or verify authorization when required by post orders. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or public emergency services as needed and providing clear directions to occupants. + Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in written reports and logs; communicate key information during shift turnover to support consistent post operations. Minimum Requirements: + Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. + Be at least 21 years of age. + Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. + Loss prevention experience is preferred. + A guard card and/or security license is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
