Job Description

Claims Examiner This position involves reviewing, investigating, and evaluating claims to determine eligibility and negotiating resolutions that comply with all policies and state regulatory requirements. The role manages a significant volume of claims and ensures timely and accurate payments to customers and providers. Responsibilities: Ensure timely and accurate payments to customers and providers. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Handle customer reimbursement requests. Validate daily NHS wire payments and exceptions. Manage reconciliation of Customer Preferred Pricing transactions. Assist with customer inquiries regarding claim status. Analyze and validate a high level of claims data and enter it into the proprietary operating system. Index invoices and move them to the appropriate location. Perform filing and other administrative duties as needed. Essential Skills: Minimum of 1 year of office experience in data entry, processing, or similar fields. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Strong attendance and reliability. Exceptional attention to detail and minimal error rate. Quick learner of new processes and systems. Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. Efficient and accurate typing skills. GED or High School Diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in office roles such as data entry, dispatchers, claims, or provider relations. Retail experience with an associate degree and Excel skills is considered. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter, creative problem solver, and strong team player. Work Environment: The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role is based in a modern and energetic office environment in Naperville, featuring a team of 16 within the Claims Management Department. The office has a pit-style layout with a vibrant atmosphere and amenities like a kitchen area with a soda machine. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Naperville, IL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
