Pay: $70.00 - $72.00 per hour Job description: Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner – Correctional Health Location: Ohio (On-Site) Assignment Length: 6 months (with possible extension or temp-to-perm) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) licensed in the state of Ohio to provide on-site primary care services within a correctional facility serving both male and female populations. This is a full-time assignment projected to last approximately 6 months , with the potential for extension or permanent placement based on ongoing need and mutual fit. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to incarcerated adult populations Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care Manage chronic conditions and acute medical needs Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and correctional staff Ensure compliance with facility policies, clinical guidelines, and applicable regulations Required Qualifications Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) certification Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in: Primary care and/or Hospital medicine Board Certification in applicable NP specialty BLS/CPR certification (healthcare-provider level) DEA registration (required for the assignment) Authorized to work in the United States
