Human Resources Generalist Help shape an exceptional employee experience. At MDH Network, our Human Resources team is dedicated to supporting employees throughout their journey with the organization. About the Human Resources Department Our HR team supports all stages of the employee life cyclefrom onboarding to employee relations, training, leaves management, and beyond. We partner closely with leaders and staff across the organization to promote engagement, compliance, and a strong sense of community. What You'll Do As the Human Resources Generalist, you'll be the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and a trusted partner to employees and supervisors alike. You will play a key role in managing employee relations matters, supporting core HR operations, and ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality HR service delivery. Your work helps cultivate collaborative relationships, resolve workplace concerns, enhance supervisor effectiveness, and promote positive employee experiences across the organization. In This Role, You Will: Serve as a primary resource for employee relations, including employee concerns, conflict resolution, performance management support, and workplace investigations Guide employees and leaders on HR policies, California employment laws, and best practices Partner with supervisors and managers to address complex employee issues and support effective, compliant people management Support new hire orientation to ensure a welcoming, compliant, and engaging onboarding process Maintain a high level of organization, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Collaborate with operations teams to support supervisor and manager development initiatives Utilize ADP Workforce Now for HR processes, documentation, and reporting Contribute to building and sustaining a strong, positive workplace culture across the organization Who You Are A proactive, detail-oriented HR professional who values accuracy, communication, and service. You excel at building relationships, navigating complex HR issues, and supporting a diverse workforce. You enjoy being a collaborative partner and making a meaningful impact on the employee experience. Qualifications A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a human resources department as a sole practitioner or as part of a team Minimum 2 years Employee Relations experience BA degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience Experience in the healthcare, social services, or residential care industry preferred HR certification (SHRM-SCP/CP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred Bilingual English/Spanish required Expertise in California wage and hour laws and employment regulations required Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred Why Join Us We invest in your growth and well-being through comprehensive benefits, professional development, and a mission-driven workplace.
