Materials Handler I - Programmer

Warehouse Associate Starting Wage: $18.00 an hour + $1.00 shift differential + overtime Shift: 2nd shift, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday Location: Dayton, Ohio What's in it for you: Paid Time Off 88 Hours of Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans 401K Match Tuition Reimbursement Referral Bonus Program Growth Opportunities Climate Controlled Facility What you will do: Reads work order or pick tickets or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, moved, or processed Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, pallet jack, conveyor, or other material handling equipment Loads materials into vehicles and installs banding and stretch wrapping to prevent shifting or damage in transit Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information or cases or containers Packs and prepares cartons for shipping to customers Ensures accuracy or order and security of packaging to avoid damage in shipment Operate a pallet jack and forklift on a regular basis Able to meet quality and productivity deliverables Adheres to all safety policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: 6+ months of related warehouse or distribution experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to learn how to operate power equipment Ability to read and understand written English Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of related warehouse or distribution experience Experience operating pallet jack, order picker, counterbalance, reach and turret trucks
