Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Cary, NC Location: Cary, NC (Onsite) Pay: $35 – $41/hr Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM, with occasional Saturdays on a quarterly rotation About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Cary, NC. This is an onsite role with opportunities for cross-training and potential full-time placement. What You’ll Do Counsel and educate new and existing oncology patients on specialty drug therapies via inbound/outbound phone calls (no direct patient care or home visits) Ensure adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations and document thoroughly in EMR Discuss potential/current side effects , educate patients on treatment alternatives, and facilitate therapy adherence Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to manufacturers and regulatory authorities Qualifications Registered Nurse with current unrestricted multi-state compact license (ability to obtain additional state licenses) Prefer 3+ years acute care experience in oncology, chemotherapy administration, or pharmacovigilance reporting Oncology or Hematology certification preferred (not required) Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and ability to work independently Excellent communication, patient education, and documentation skills Why This Role is Great Hybrid learning opportunities through cross-training with other nursing teams Exposure to oncology specialty practice with potential for full-time employment Collaborative, supportive work environment with clear growth potential Apply today to advance your career in oncology nursing and make a meaningful impact on patient care!
