Why Vertical Cold Storage needs you: We need you to be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of the production line operations and rooms in accordance with Food Safety guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Support safe and clean working environment by complying with SSOP procedures, rules and regulations. • Maintain production equipment by following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines. • Service equipment by cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting equipment for production • Maintains production line sanitation by solving process problems; making equipment inspections; reporting cleaning data; referring questions to supervisor • Understand system of preapproved chemicals and chemical waste by monitoring and tracking usage • Visually inspect equipment and document cleaning and sanitizing within system and address any issues that need to be corrected. • Follow manufacturers requirements when mixing and using appropriate chemicals either when cleaning or sanitizing machinery and associated production areas. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Demonstrate a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations. • Support assigned duties of the general manager to assist in the business of the facility. • Meet attendance requirements Job Qualifications - Experience: • Prior sanitation experience preferred Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds frequently • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Ability to work in wet environments for prolonged periods when wearing safety equipment including goggles, aprons and non-skid boots • Ability to twist, bend, lift, crawl on frequent basis Vertical Cold Storage is an EOE/M/F/D/V Drug Free Workplace
