Production Operator 1 - 2nd shift Big Pole

NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Big Pole team in our Transportation & Infrastructure (Pole) Business Unit. The Production Operator is responsible for entry level manufacturing tasks in accordance with product specifications. Location: Winsted, MN Salary Range: $19.13 - 22.50 per hour (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.) Shift Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am Shift Differential: 2nd shift - $1.50/hour As a Production Operator, you will: Perform clean-up, grinding, drilling, straightening, blast booth, cutting, galvanizing process preparation and general production support tasks Use hoist or other material handling equipment to transport materials and product into and out of the work area as required Examine finished products for defects Accurately label all parts for routing to next operation Monitor the production board and internal paperwork to perform tasks in the designated sequence Enter job data in production tracking system Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements Follow company policies in relation to safety, cleanliness, attendance etc. Perform other duties as assigned or requested Role Qualifications as a Production Operator: Experience with mechanical machines or devices, preferring electrical and/or mechanical assembly High attention to detail Skill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills Skill to operate various precision measuring tools and hand tools Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, operating instructions, procedures and prints Ability to perform basic shop math functions Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork in English Ability to electronically record production information Ability to work with others as part of a high-performance team Ability to adapt to changing work priorities Join Millerbernd Manufacturing - Where Your Career Can Take ShapeAbout Us: At Millerbernd, we don't just offer jobs-we build careers.
