Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: Washington, DC 20037 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 4×10-Hour Day Shifts Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements Requirements: Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility Minimum 2 years of acute care MRI experience MRI Lead experience preferred High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited Radiology program required BS or MS in Healthcare preferred ARRT (MR) certification required BLS certification (AHA) required Job Summary: The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures following established protocols while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. This role supports departmental operations, maintains MRI equipment and work areas, and follows all magnetic safety guidelines. The technologist may also serve as a resource for MRI students and staff.
