James River Home Health is actively seeking a compassionate and highly committed PRN Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Lynchburg, VA! You will be responsible for providing skilled Occupational Therapy to clients in their homes on an intermittent basis. You will also coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure an optimal care experience for the patient! Territory: Buckingham, Fluvanna, Cumberland, Charlotte County, Nottoway What's in it for you? Competitive Pay Per Visit Rate Flexible Schedules Mileage Reimbursement A brief overview of Responsibilities: Works with the physician to evaluate the patient's functional status using appropriate assessments and procedures. Completes ongoing assessments, including OASIS, to monitor the patient's needs and progress. Evaluates the home environment and available family support to determine what teaching, assistance, and community services may be needed. Helps develop and carry out the care plan, including Occupational Therapy services, in coordination with the physician and care team. Teaches and guides patients and their families on therapy techniques and related needs at home, coordinates weekly visit schedules with the Director of Therapy, completes visit notes within 24 hours, and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy school Must be licensed in Virginia Must have at least one year of institutional experience If you are interested and a caring, compassionate OT who can make a difference in our patients' lives, we would be interested in meeting you!
