Administrative Assistant for Health Services Center Dominican University New York seeks a part time Administrative Assistant to provide support in the Student Health Services Center specifically in the area of ensuring Immunization Compliance. Responsible for scheduling and organization of the Health Center, tracking invoices, communicating with vendors and monitoring budget expenditures. Takes inventory and monitors and maintains clinical and laboratory supplies. Manages work-study students and documents hours worked. Collect, sort, review, record, and file immunization documentation. Maintains accurate immunization records in DUNY electronic health system. Run compliance reports and notify administrators and students of non-compliance. Prepare data for immunization compliance for NYS School Survey annually. Updates communications regarding immunization for orientation communications, letters to individual students, and other promotional materials. This is a part time position; working 28 hours per week for 34 weeks (August - May). Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Wordand Excel. Experience with Electronic Health Records, Jenzabar software/data base or other type system. Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, trust and confidentiality. Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills. Builds relationships with specific student populations (International, Athlete and Residential Students), parents and staff and administration. Previous health care experience preferred. Bachelor's Degree a plus. Dominican University New York, located in Orangeburg, New York, is 17 miles north of New York City, with approximately 1,400 students and 400 faculty and staff.
