Golf Course Maintenance Positions

Description Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and Ass't Superintendents, individuals needed to perform routine manual labor in golf course maintenance. Greenskeepers particpate in a diverse range of activiities including daily course preparation, mowing, renovations, equipment operation, watering, construction projects etc. Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time Position Requirements Greenskeeper I - 2 years or less of experience Greenskeeper II - More than 2 years of experience and will also assist in chemical applications. Greenskeeper III - More than 2 years of experience with leadership in chemical and fertilizer application and small project responsibilities Greenskeeper IV - More than 2 years of experience and a degree in agricultural science with an emphasis in turfgrass management. Will have or will obtain a current pesticide license and basic knowledge of pesticide and fertilizer usage, soil conditions, irrigation repair and safety training responsibilites. Will also assist the Irrigation Technician, Spray Technician, Construction Foreman and Safety Direction on projects and applications when required. Preferred qualifications also include knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in golf course and grounds landscape construction and maintenance. Must be able to follow oral and written directions and work in cooperation with fellow employees. Must also have the ability to safely operate motorized equipment.
