QA Tester - Mid-Level

QA Tester - Mid-Level On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a QA Tester - Mid-Level for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client's Austin or Southlake, TX office. Job Description The project involves enhancing the quality assurance processes for web-enabled applications. The focus is on developing test automation scripts and supporting the integration of Cyber Security tools and applications. The role requires a strong understanding of SDLC processes and CI/CD frameworks. Responsibilities • Design and execute API, UI, scheduled jobs, and DB test scenarios/cases • Develop test automation scripts for web-enabled applications • Collaborate with multiple departments to communicate essential information • Support Cyber Security tools/applications, including Identity & Access Management • Utilize JIRA for test case execution and management • Ensure integrity and reliability of business operations through advanced QA testing Mandatory Skills • 3-5 years hands-on QA engineering/testing experience • 8+ years developing test automation scripts • 3-5+ years experience with Agile methodologies • 2-4+ years experience with JIRA • Advanced QA testing expertise • Strong understanding of SDLC processes • Strong understanding of CI/CD and testing frameworks Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience supporting Cyber Security tools/applications • Exposure to platforms such as Zscaler, SailPoint Identity IQ, PingID, HYPR • Financial or Banking experience • Matrix or regulatory experience Assignment Length This is a 4-month contract position.
