Senior Concrete Estimator

Job Description Job Title: Commercial Concrete Estimator Location: Sarasota, FL Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Full Benefits We are seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Estimator to join a growing and well-established construction team in the Sarasota, Florida area. This is a senior-level role requiring deep expertise in both commercial and residential high-rise concrete projects, including large-scale mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential high-rise concrete projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop competitive bids Compile and present comprehensive take-offs and budgets Work closely with project managers, engineers, and leadership during preconstruction Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Maintain and provide a proven concrete project list demonstrating past success Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies Participate in client meetings and bid presentations as needed Qualifications: 15+ years of concrete estimating experience (REQUIRED) Extensive background in commercial, residential high-rise, and mixed-use projects Proven track record of successfully estimating large-scale concrete scopes Documented project list showcasing completed concrete projects Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and pricing Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Stable work history preferred Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary: $140,000 - $160,000 (DOE) Performance-based bonus structure Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off 401(k) with company match Long-term growth opportunity with a respected organization This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned concrete estimator looking to play a key role in major projects throughout the Sarasota market.
