Material Handler / Driver

Job Full Description We are seeking a dependable and experienced Material Handler / Driver to support daily warehouse operations and material transportation. This role plays a critical part in managing the flow of materials in and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Load and unload materials from trucks in a safe and timely manner Verify material quantities against shipping/receiving documentation (invoices, packing slips) Ensure proper placement of materials within the warehouse or designated locations Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including labeling, packaging, and documentation Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization Drive company vehicles (Class C license required) to deliver or pick up materials Record transactions and issue appropriate documentation for incoming and outgoing materials Follow all company policies and safety procedures Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or driving roles Valid Class C driver's license Forklift experience required (certification preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Basic computer and recordkeeping skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious Experience in shipping/receiving environments preferred What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage Health, dental, and vision insurance benefits Elk Grove Village, IL 2872 1506 Elmhurst Road Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
