Based on education and experience BENEFITS: HEA, TRS, Voluntary Retirement, Insurance CLASSIFICATION: HEA APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 15, 2026 SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches students academic, social, and motor skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. The successful applicant will implement approved curriculum while utilizing various instructional strategies to meet various student needs in the classroom. Collect and analyze data to then be used to make instructional decisions. Implement effective classroom management strategies in accordance with district policies. Collaborate with various staff members to ensure student needs are being met. Our teachers effectively communicate with parents on a regular basis. And most importantly, they create a positive learning environment. SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with secondary FACS - Foods and CTE endorsement required. Preferred Pre-Safe Serve Food Handlers Certification or Higher. Prefer 2,000 hours of work experience. Must have ability to communicate successfully with parents, co-workers, and administration. Must be able to collaborate successfully with staff and colleagues to develop new and better practices. Application Process: Apply online.
