Who we are: We're the West Michigan Whitecaps, High-A Minor League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The Whitecaps are in the fun business and our mission is to provide affordable family entertainment that strengthens the West Michigan community. We create memorable experiences by offering a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. We pride ourselves on our stellar customer service and our dedication to providing friendly faces, open minds, and our time and energy to our fans. We are also 2026 Mid West League Champions! Why we want you: You're an awesome culinary professional who likes to play with your food. You have a passion for executable but creative menus - You're an open-minded leader who is comfortable giving and taking direction, and you pride yourself on your organization, communication skills, and attention to sanitary detail. You work hard and play nice, and appreciate a good joke. Why you want to work here: We sum up our mission in three words: Fun. Community. Experiences. When you join our team, you become a part of our culture and our story - we're small enough that you'll have an ability to put your stamp on things. We've got an all-hands-on-deck mentality and pitch in when something needs to be done. We work very hard, but we don't take ourselves too seriously; we realize how important things like office darts and puppy visits and staff happy hours are. Plus, besides the typical benefits, you also get generous paid time off, free baseball tickets (your friends will love you!), paid volunteer time, a free health club membership, and opportunities to get discounted or free tickets to various shows and events in West Michigan. We're also pretty great people to work with. What you'll do: You'll help hire, coach, schedule and lead the hourly kitchen staff. You will prep, cook, prepare, and present visually appealing and tasty food. You'll manage food production, execution and order/procure ingredients from vendors while working with the chef. You'll apply your culinary experience to the creation of unique new items and menus. Like the rest of us, you'll also wear many hats for different games and events, and you'll also tarp the field a few times....and have a lot of fun doing it! What you need: A passion for food and its ability to contribute to a fantastic guest experience. Flexibility, since every day here is different. You'll need a willingness to work a lot of nights and weekends, and previous experience managing others. You'll also need TIPS & ServSafe certifications. Here's the extra-innings info: Fulltime (40+) year round Hours will vary and include evenings, weekends, holidays, and home games Physical Requirements: You will need to have the ability to move about the office, LMCU Ballpark and event venues as necessary to complete tasks.
