Loan Workout Specialist 1

Job Summary The Loan Workout QA Analyst will support the Quality Assurance team in reviewing legal documentation related to customers involved in civil legal matters. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to state-specific legal requirements before documents are released to third-party legal partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, knowledge of collections or litigation processes, and the ability to work within established policies and procedures. Location: West Des Moines, IA Duration: 18 months Module: Hybrid(3 days onsite/2 days remote) PROJECT DETAILS This contractor will be joining a Quality Assurance team responsible for reviewing legal documents with WF customers who are dealing with civil legal matters. Key Responsibilities Review physical and electronic legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable state laws. Validate that information within legal documents matches supporting customer records and corresponding paperwork. Verify notarizations, signatures, and required legal elements prior to submission. Conduct judgment and complaint validations as needed. Perform quality control checks before documentation is sent to external legal partners. Identify discrepancies, errors, or compliance concerns and escalate appropriately. Maintain documentation of review findings in accordance with internal QA standards. Follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines within the Loan Workout function. Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding document status and findings. Required Qualifications 6+ months to 1 year of Loan Workout, Commercial Lending, collections, litigation support, or related experience. Basic understanding of collection law and civil legal procedures. Experience performing quality assurance or document review functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). Strong attention to detail and ability to work within structured guidelines.
