Software Design Engineer

Job Full Description Software Design Engineer | Direct HireLocation: Middletown, CT Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm Pay rate: $75,000-100,000 Software: LabVIEW software and National Instruments hardware Acts as technical reference for the customer and the main suppliers in relation to area of expertise Review all technical information (specifications, programs, manuals, etc.) and make sure all specifications are met for each job Perform installation and troubleshooting remotely and at customer's facilities Provide internal IT and server support as needed Requirements: Degree Engineering or Computer Science with strong programming background Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally Preferred Experience: Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments, Visual Basic, and C++ Experience integrating instrumentation sensors and Analog/Digital I/O (temperature, pressure, speed, vibration, etc.) Experience and understanding of calibration and metrology Knowledge of gas turbine/aircraft engine operation Experience in PLC integration and testing Experience in system engineering and/or test environments Benefits: 401k matching Health insurance Life insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid holidays PTO If you are interested and qualified for this position, please contact us at (203) 235-5627.
