Photo Studio Coordinator Location: Minooka, IL 60447 Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4x10 schedule) Pay: 20.00-21.00/hr Duration: 9+ month contract Job Overview The Photography Coordinator is responsible for preparing merchandise for e-commerce photography within the Minooka Photo Studio. This role focuses on product handling, preparation, and styling to ensure items meet established visual and style guidelines prior to being photographed. Working closely with Photographers and other Coordinators, the Photography Coordinator ensures products are unpacked, cleaned, assembled, styled, and repackaged efficiently while maintaining high production standards and tight deadlines. This role reports to the Manager, Creative Operations - Photo Studio. Key Responsibilities Unpackage, clean, prep, assemble, sort, and style products according to studio style guidelines for photography shoots. Repackage products after photography so they can be returned to stock in like-new condition. Style products across a range of categories for e-commerce photography Prepare merchandise so that minimal post-production retouching is required. Assemble and disassemble products to ensure efficient photography workflow. Remove dust, fingerprints, and surface imperfections prior to shooting. Work closely with the Studio Manager and Senior Photographer to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines. Update JIRA tickets to document task completion and production progress. Upload shot lists and track products through PhotoControls software. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production workspace. Qualifications Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed procedures and style guidelines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel), SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Comfortable working with computer systems and production software. Basic mechanical ability using hand tools such as screwdrivers, mallets, and drills. Experience assembling products or equipment. Familiarity with photography or visual arts. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work Environment Fast-paced photography production studio. Collaboration with photographers and studio coordinators. Focus on productivity, organization, and maintaining product quality standards.
