The role focuses on flow-oriented layouts, lean principles, ergonomics, and productivity improvement to support cost reduction and efficient production ramp-up.Responsibilities:Work System & Value Stream OptimizationDevelop, maintain, and improve work system design and time data management across complete value stream processes.Introduce new industrial engineering methods and tools to ensure smooth and efficient production ramp-up.Layout, Lean Line Design, Investment and Capacity PlanningMaintain and optimize plant layout in accordance with flow-oriented layout concepts, BPS principles and Lean Line designDevelop work system designs in compliance with legal requirements and corporate standards for existing and new equipment.Provide input for investment planning by analyzing production, customer demand and capacity data for the planning period.Apply BPS planning guidelines to support data-driven investment decisionsErgonomics & Workplace DesignEnsure ergonomic workplace design through MAE application and ErgoCheck (IGEL tool).Enable ergonomic analysis and workplace optimization using MTM methodologies.Support continuous improvement of operator health, safety, and efficiency.Standardized Work & Time ManagementDevelop, maintain, and update standardized work for production and material handling activities.Determine IE data such as standard times (VT), setup times, and changeover times and maintain in SAP using CAPP.Plan workplace leveling and utilization of associates and operating resources.Develop and maintain plant direct and indirect productivity KPIs.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor s degree required in industrial or mechanical engineering3+ years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment.Technical detail-orientedProficiency in using AutoCAD, Office 365, SAP and PBI reportingPreferred Qualifications:Master s degree preferred in industrial or mechanical engineeringDemonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentGood interpersonal and project management skills.Highly organized self-starter and use good judgment.Strong analytical skills.Able to influence functional areas with effective communicationAbility to work under pressureProblem solving competenceAdditional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
