The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for taking projects from start through getting certificate of occupancy including tracking project milestones, updating the schedule and communicating with site staff and owners. Client Details Our client is a mid-size General Contractor that has a strong background of projects in; institutional, health care, government, bio-tech and general commercial. Description Manage construction projects from start to finish Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors Work closely with estimating team to update budget Keep detailed log of construction documentation including (RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders) Updating required AIA documentation Tracking project milestones and reporting and issues to senior leadership Working closely with Site Superintendent to ensure project is running on time Develop comprehensive construction schedule Monitor costs, including labor time and material Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates Profile 4 year Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar degree 10 + years of Commercial Construction Experience as a Project Manager Health care Construction Experience (REQUIRED) AHCA Inspection experience (PREFERRED) Experience with ProCore or similar software OSHA-30 Certification preferred Strong ability to read drawings and specifications Job Offer Competitive Base Strong bonus structure (10 - 20%) 100% paid healthcare coverage PTO & Sick Leave 401(k) retirement plan Strong Pipeline of work MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
