Job SummaryCome join our Dynamic Fitness Team! The Fitness Center at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA is looking for qualified Mat Pilates instructor. Established in 1865, Merion is an elaborate mixture of the old and the new with our new renovation to the campus fitness, resort style heated pool, paddle hut with a cozy ambiance including a fireplace and bar & additional tennis and pickleball courts. Great atmosphere & great members to work with. Teaching Pilates, stretch classes, and barre formats are considered a plus. Highly competitive earning opportunities, flexible schedules. ResponsibilitiesA positive attitude with a positive vibe and must be punctual Deliver inspirational and well thought out Mat Pilates classes to students of all levels, abilities and backgrounds Ensure class begins and ends on time Teach respective classes on a regular basis Communicate with the Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and subbing Adhere to Group Exercise policies and procedures QualificationsMust be certified by an accredited organization, to teach yoga group fitness classes, Pilates Certification Ability to demonstrate safe exercise techniques 6 months Yoga/Pilates instructing is preferred. Current CPR/AED certification - a plus Must have access to regular email and phone communication Ability to build professional relationship with members Excellent customer service and promotional skills; energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational Extensive knowledge of fitness, and program design Education & ExperienceProgram design experience preferred Valid Group Exercise Certification Required Specialty Certifications (Yoga/Pilates) High school diploma or equivalent Benefits:Competitive compensation Work Authorization/Security ClearanceThis position requires additional screening.
