Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days, evenings Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab RN – Travel Assignment Weston, Florida 13-Week Contract | 4x10 Day Shifts | 40 Hours Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a high-performing cardiovascular team in a teaching hospital setting. This role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while providing critical patient monitoring and procedural assistance. The Cath Lab RN will collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality cardiac care throughout all stages of the procedure. Schedule 4x10 Hour Day Shifts 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM 13-week assignment Approximately 9 on-call shifts within a 5-week schedule 40 hours guaranteed Responsibilities Circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures Monitor and manage hemodynamic status during procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases Administer and monitor procedural sedation Identify and respond to cardiac arrhythmias Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care Maintain sterile technique and support procedural workflow Requirements Active RN license (state or compact accepted) BLS certification (AHA) ACLS certification (AHA) NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained prior to start) Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred) Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Experience monitoring procedural sedation Preferred Experience Electrophysiology (EP) experience Vascular procedure experience Experience in teaching hospital environments Additional Details Epic charting system Ceil blue scrubs Teaching hospital environment Facility requires nicotine-free status for all staff COVID and flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions considered) Cath Lab RN – 4x10 day shifts with call requirements. 13-week assignment. BLS & ACLS required. Minimum 18 months Cath Lab experience required. Epic experience preferred. First-time travelers accepted.
