Sterile Compounding Pharmacist

We take pride in delivering safe, accurate, and innovative solutions that support residents, providers, and care teams. We are currently seeking a Licensed IV Pharmacist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment where your expertise in IV compounding and LTC operations will have a direct impact on resident care and quality outcomes What Youll Do: Evaluate and verify medication and IV orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, compatibility, and administration route.Ensure all medicationsincluding compounded sterile preparationsare dispensed accurately, safely, and in compliance with USP / standards.Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in the preparation and labeling of IV admixtures, TPNs, and other sterile/non-sterile medications.IV technicians will report to IV Pharmacists.Answering IV-related questionsCollaborate with nurses, physicians, and facility staff to resolve clinical and operational medication-related queries.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LTC regulations, IV therapy protocols, and sterile compounding standards.Uphold SpecialtyRxs commitment to patient safety, compliance, and service excellence. What Were Looking For: Active Ohio Pharmacist License(required).IV certificationOr demonstrated knowledge of USP / (required).Previous experience inLong-Term Care pharmacypreferred.Strong clinical judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.Comfort working with LTC software (Frameworks LTC knowledge is a plus).Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
