Material Handler

Material Handler We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our dynamic team. The role offers the opportunity to begin in either the sheet metal bay or the bar bay, depending on current operational needs. We have openings on both the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Responsibilities Participate in 2-3 weeks of classroom training focused on safety, core values, and basic certifications. Engage in 3-4 weeks of hands-on training to gain forklift certifications and learn procedural duties. Perform order selection using high reach/side loader forklifts and sit-down forklifts. Sort and band materials, and operate overhead cranes as needed. Load trucks, maneuver materials, and band various metals. Lift up to 55 pounds independently; use team lift or forklifts for heavier items. Essential Skills Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up/side loader forklifts. Competency in using overhead cranes. Experience in material handling and order selection. Experience with saw operation, metal working, deburring, grinding, and metal grinding. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hellam, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
