Temporary Human Resources Assistant LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support our client's HR department in a contract role based in Logan Heights, San Diego. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling confidential information with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the HR team including filing, data entry, and document management Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and background checks Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures Help prepare reports related to payroll, compliance, and employee data Ensure compliance with company policies and California labor laws Assist with special HR projects as assigned Qualifications: 13 years of HR or administrative experience Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism Additional Details: Located in Logan Heights, San Diego Contract role Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST Onsite, Full-time Compensation: $22.00-$24.00 per hour DOE This contract opportunity offers valuable HR experience within a collaborative team environment.
