Instructions Designer Our Product Development team is looking for an Instructions Designer to bridge the gap between complex engineering and the customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for translating technical data into user-friendly assembly manuals and creating high-quality 3D renders that reflect our brand's standard of excellence. Additionally, you will support our custom order pipeline by developing and managing unique stock-keeping units (SKUs). We are looking for someone who is passionate about fitness, highly self-motivated, and has great attention to detail. This position will have a direct role in working on innovative projects and contributing to our top-quality equipment. Passion about Rogue and the strength training market is critical to this role. The Instructions Designer is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Responsibilities Instructional Design & Visualization: Develop comprehensive assembly manuals, technical training documentation, and customer instructions using engineered models and technical illustrations 3D Rendering: Produce high-quality 3D renders and exploded-view diagrams from CAD files for use in technical manuals and product documentation Custom Order Architecture: Create and maintain detailed Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) for custom product orders, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and manufacturing alignment Documentation Support: Update and modify existing drawings and manuals based on feedback from the design and manufacturing teams to ensure assembly accuracy Records Management: Create and maintain detailed records of design modifications, including change orders and revision histories Qualifications Associate's Degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and Adobe Illustrator for technical drawing and layout Expertise in KeyShot for creating high-fidelity, photorealistic product visuals Understanding of inventory management principles, specifically the logic and creation of alphanumeric SKU structures for custom configurations Very strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete mathematical calculations as required Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex mechanical processes for the end-user By applying to Rogue, regardless of the platform you choose to use, you are agreeing to Rogue's preferred methods of communication (i.e. text message).
