New Business Coordinator, Retirement The New Business Coordinator will work directly with the President and Executive Vice President of MMA's Retirement Services division on new business development. The Business Development Administrator will be responsible for gathering client and prospect information and will work closely alongside the Sales Professionals to organize marketing campaigns, coordinate client projects, and prepare materials for client meetings and events. In this role, the New Business Coordinator will enhance their technical and creative skills, learn new tools and programs, and interact daily with MMA's top clients! A Day in the Life Prospect, Pipeline & Client Management Perform marketplace and competitor research (web and phone) Coordinate activities and deliverables with Marketing department regarding campaigns, events, networking activities Ensure project plans for clients are current and communicate changes to Account Managers Schedule client and team meetings with both internal and external audiences Sales Process Coordination Coordinate with Accounting Managers and Consultants to track deliverables Create presentations in concert with Marketing Perform all support work required for on-boarding of a new client (e.g. welcome letter, new commission worksheet, service agreements) Attend meetings and summarize meeting notes Systems Support In support of all reporting requirements, manage the timely input and data integrity within all MMA systems Tracking and auditing of revenue with Finance department Our Future Colleague We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: Previous experience working in an administrative function or experience working in a sales environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & aptitude for learning and leveraging technology (Nice to have: Salesforce experience) Strong organizational, communication, time management, and drive for results Ability to work well independently/self-motivated Industry experience a plus but not required (401(k), retirement services, retirement recordkeeper) A shared commitment to our core values; Collaboration, Accountability, Innovation, Passion and Integrity We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. The applicable base salary range for this role is $59,700 to $111,200. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
