Logistics Coordinator - 1st Shift

Logistics Specialist Location: Rogers, MN Compensation: $26.00-$30.00 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Logistics Specialist for a leading manufacturing company located in Rogers, MN. The Logistic Specialist is responsible for coordinating, processing, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including hazardous materials and international orders. This position requires logistics and international import/export experience that is critical for this position. What You'll Do: Prepare, package, and ship domestic and international orders in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and carrier documentation. Assign and maintain accurate HTS codes for exported products. Coordinate with freight forwarders, custom brokers, and international carriers. Receive incoming deliveries of material, components, and supplies from both domestic and international sources. Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness. Report any discrepancies to the Purchasing Department. Enter received goods into ERP system and label materials as required. Secondary Responsibilities: Request and provide delivery cost estimates. What You Need to Bring: Experience with international shipping and customs clearance is 100% required. Strong understanding of shipping procedures and documentation. Working knowledge of Incoterms and freight regulations. Experience shipping hazardous material and labeling/documenting shipments accordingly. Experience with UPS, FedEx, and LTL domestic and international shipping processes. Hazmat Certified is required. Shipping/Receiving Hazardous Materials experience is required. IATA Certified is 100% required. Shipping Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials by Air. Forklift Experience/Certified.
