Responsibilities Located in downtown Fresno, Community Regional Medical Center is home to the Valley's only Level I Trauma Center and a rapidly growing Neuroscience Department. With more than 30 designated Neuroscience ICU beds, three neurosurgery service lines, and a comprehensive stroke center recognized with the Beacon Gold Award of Excellence, our Neuro ICU team manages some of the most complex neurological cases in California. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your pharmacy expertise to a nationally recognized, high-acuity environment while contributing to innovative care and ongoing departmental expansion. Deliver specialized clinical pharmacy services to critically ill neuroscience patients, including drug information, pharmacotherapy monitoring, and direct consultative support for physicians, nurses, and the care team. Review and verify medication orders, oversee work completed by ancillary pharmacy personnel, and ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal standards. Contribute to the academic mission through teaching pharmacy learners and supporting education for Neuroscience Department and nursing staff. Participate in research and investigational drug clinical trials, as well as committee and workgroup initiatives that directly shape clinical practice, policy, and patient outcomes. Qualifications Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required Experience 2 years of work experience or completion of a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency required Licenses and Certifications RPH - Registered Pharmacist with valid State of California Pharmacist License required BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (depending on area specialty) required PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification (depending on area specialty) required Disclaimers Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.
