CitiMed is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources team. This role is pivotal in identifying talent, creating exceptional candidate experiences, and ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding workflows. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple departments and clinical specialties, including physician recruitment, while maintaining a strong connection with organizational staffing needs. This is an on-site, Monday through Friday position based in Rego Park, NY. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment Coordination Manage job postings and talent sourcing through recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and agency partnerships). Stay in close communication with department heads to understand current and forecasted hiring needs. Screen applications, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers. Represent the organization to candidates in a professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable manner. Support provider/physician recruitment efforts in collaboration with executive leadership. Onboarding & Orientation Facilitate the complete onboarding process including background checks, reference verifications, I-9 and credential verifications. Coordinate and lead employee orientation sessions, ensuring all new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly. Develop and maintain post-orientation training schedules with departmental trainers or supervisors. Prepare new hire packets, training documentation, and systems access requests. Offboarding & Compliance Coordinate exit processes including deactivation of credentials, final documentation, and return of assets. Conduct exit interviews and document insights to improve retention and onboarding processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies in all onboarding and offboarding workflows. Physician Onboarding Support Serve as the primary point of contact for physician hires, ensuring credentialing, licensing, training, and start dates are organized and streamlined. Partner with clinical leadership to ensure a positive and complete onboarding experience for new providers. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred. Experience: 24 years of experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or healthcare onboarding. Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Office Suite, and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Familiarity with healthcare compliance and physician credentialing is a strong plus.
