Payroll Coordinator We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our Nashville-based team. This role supports the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with sensitive information. Key Responsibilities: Assist with weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll processing for employees Collect, review, and verify timekeeping and payroll data for accuracy Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes Ensure accurate processing of taxes, deductions, garnishments, and benefit withholdings Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies promptly Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits and reconciliations Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution Partner with HR and Accounting teams to ensure smooth payroll operations Maintain compliance with federal, state, and Tennessee payroll regulations Qualifications: 13+ years of payroll or related accounting experience Working knowledge of payroll laws and wage and hour regulations Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, or similar platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Preferred Experience: Multi-state payroll experience High-volume payroll environments Experience supporting payroll audits or process improvements Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour Search managed by: Holland Hunt Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
