Software Engineer IV Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position located in Eagan, MN. This is a long-term contract opportunity running through December 2026. Pay range: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour, W2. Overview We are seeking a Level 4 Software Engineer (Strong Mid-Level) to support new feature development for a large enterprise healthcare client undergoing adjudication platform modernization. This is a hands-on delivery role embedded within an established agile team. The focus is on building backend-heavy functionality that enables large-scale client migrations to a modernized cloud-based platform. Responsibilities Develop and enhance Java-based backend services Build business logic supporting compensation rules and configuration capabilities Contribute to cloud-native microservices within GCP Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborative agile delivery Deliver clean, scalable, production-ready code Required Skills Strong Java development experience Experience with Spring (Boot, Data, Cloud) GCP experience (required) Experience with Kafka Experience with Relational Databases (RDBMS) GitHub For select roles: Experience with React (Full Stack positions) Ideal Candidate Independent contributor who delivers with minimal oversight Collaborative and accountable Comfortable working in fast-paced enterprise environments Ownership mindset with strong communication skills Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
