The Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of procurement activities while also supporting inventory management. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in an office-forward environment and enjoys balancing operational execution with administrative and people-facing responsibilities. This position supports the Procurement function by managing purchasing, receiving, inventory, and vendor coordination. Primary Responsibilities: Execute daily procurement activities including purchasing, receiving, and processing hardware and equipment for service tickets. Maintain procurement ordering timelines. Review open purchase orders and follow up on exceptions, delays, or returns. Update procurement tickets and ensure accurate documentation. Verify warranties, shipments, and tracking information. Restock standard inventory items and flag upcoming shortages. Coordinate with project, service, and office stakeholders on upcoming needs. Receive, log, and verify all delivered hardware against purchase orders. Maintain accurate inventory records, including monthly inventory counts and adjustments across all offices. Manage internal equipment lifecycle including loaners, redeployment, and electronic recycling. Process returns, warranties, and RMA requests with vendors and distributors. Identify trends, gaps, or inefficiencies in procurement and inventory processes. Various office management duties as necessary/front desk backup. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, office operations, or a related role. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Working knowledge of IT hardware (laptops, monitors, firewalls, switches, peripherals, etc.) Experience with ConnectWise (or similar PSA) preferred. Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities. Physical requirement to twist, stretch, and possibly lift up to 50 lbs. Customer service oriented and people friendly approach.
