Why This Job Matters The team is seeking an intern to assist in efforts to advance organizational social responsibility initiatives, programming and events. In this position, you will work closely with BCBSRI's culture ambassadors Employee Business Resource Groups and various councils, to help coordinate and support ongoing events and initiatives, as well as daily administrative support. What You Will Do Gain experience to all facets of corporate social responsibility, while supporting department operations Attend department and committee meetings as related to the work Assist team with event logistics, from ideation to planning and execution Represent BCBSRI at community-based events in a professional manner Assist with researching market trends and best practices in the evolving field of corporate social responsibility Perform other duties as assigned. What You Need To Succeed A passion for employee engagement, social impact, content creation, program development Project management skills Written and verbal communications skills Time management skills Strong PC-based/software skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to collect and organize data Ability to work well independently and in groups Ability to meet established time and quality standards Ability to exercise sound judgment Location: BCBSRI is headquartered in downtown Providence, conveniently located near the train station and bus terminal. We actively support associate well-being and work/life balance and offer the following schedules, based on role: In-office: onsite 5 days per week Hybrid: onsite 2-4 days per week Remote: onsite 0-1 days per week.
