Bookkeeper Opportunity In Ottawa Lake, Mi A manufacturer in Ottawa Lake, MI is looking for a bookkeeper to help manage their financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and support their financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in handling company finances with precision and confidentiality. This is a temp-to hire position on 1st shift (8am - 4:30pm) and starts at $20/hr! Key responsibilities include: Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card statements Prepare and process payroll Generate monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting Prepare documentation for tax filings and audits Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations Support management with financial data and reporting as needed Required qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred) 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, global shop software, or similar) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite Notice regarding the use of artificial intelligence in employment decisions: In accordance with state mandates, we are providing this notice to inform all applicants and employees that artificial intelligence (AI) tools may be used at various stages of our employment processes.
