Supply Chain Inventory Analyst The Supply Chain Inventory Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving supply chain operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making. This role uses data analysis and forecasting models to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across procurement, inventory, and distribution functions. May perform any or all of the following duties: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory, transportation, and demand forecasting. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for process improvement. Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards and reports for cross-functional teams and leadership. Support sourcing and vendor selection by providing cost analysis and supplier performance insights. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams to support strategic initiatives. Evaluate inventory levels and recommend reorder points, safety stock, and distribution strategies. Conduct root cause analyses on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies. Make business-supporting decisions about inventory disposition and movement Identifies and reports obsolete, surplus, or excess inventory and assists with disposition options. Coordinates and communicates information to the distributor regarding the inventory strategy Demonstrates oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external). Attends training to remain current on industry trends. Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements. Manages the phase-out/phase-in of new products, discontinued products, and/or vendor transitions. Works with purchasing and distribution to complete vendor and item set-ups in a timely manner. Position qualifications/core competencies: Must possess approximately two (2) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of administrative, accounting, or finance Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, or a related field Must have advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel Must have excellent math aptitude; strong analytical and reasoning skills are essential Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results Must have a strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information Work environment: Restaurant Support Center that is fast-paced, high-volume of activity, and a deadline-driven environment Physical demands: Sitting for extended periods of time, using the telephone, typing, and/or operating a computer and/or mouse Travel could be required - 5% The company retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as deemed appropriate with or without notice.
