Logistics Analyst The Pittsburgh Paints Company has an exciting opportunity available located in Cranberry Twp, PA. The Logistics Analyst will be subject matter expert and the first contact for Pittsburgh Paints Company transportation operations for the PPC store business in the US. The Logistics Specialist will complete analysis and reporting for the team and support inbound logistics requests. Key Responsibilities: Support all aspects of the dedicated liftgate fleet operation, including monthly meetings with individual suppliers supporting the US Stores. Regular communication with store operations to make sure store order day schedule, SAP delivery day schedule, and dedicated carrier are aligned. Resolve transportation operational issues for the stores business in the US. Use data to review service concerns and take necessary steps with carriers to improve. Support field sales by analyzing carrier complaints and providing solutions for poor performance while minimizing freight impact Review monthly LTL compliance report and to ensure store low-cost carrier percentage usage shows continued improvement Implement improved processes that yield transportation cost savings. Provide support for Export orders out of our stores network. Support overages, shortages, and damages by coordinating with the OSD team. Collaborate with shipping locations and provide support for TL planning as needed Support Inbound Planning serving internal business customers (supply chain management, customer service, production/operations personnel, etc.) with best-in-class logistics support. Tender shipments (ground modes) to carriers and communicate/engage carrier contacts. Enhance low cost and primary carrier utilization while maintaining business unit requirements for service and on time deliveries. Stay informed and up to date on current transportation of dangerous good rules/regulations and inform the USCA distribution network of changes and impacts. Correct shipping documentation to ensure compliance to current US TDG regulations. Complete location audits, document action items, and corrective actions plans. Respond to master data management product packaging approval requests. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Transportation is strongly preferred. At least 2 years' experience working with SAP or an ERP system in addition to Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with transportation terms such as freight, shipping procedures and carrier equipment types. Solid computer skills, time management/prioritization skills, strong oral and written presentation skills.
