The Team Leader markets organic new insurance business to contracted carriers. The Team Leader serves as contact between the agency and insurance carriers, contracts, and compliance as well as working closely with the licensed producers soliciting business. The Team Leader will directly manage a marketing team while offering support and education in the marketplace. How You'll Make An Impact Manage a consistent new business list. Mentors and train more junior team members. Facilitates and collaborates with marketing team. Regularly meets with insurance carriers marketing representatives, underwriters, wholesalers and company officials to review product offerings, to discuss individual business accounts, and to review company production reports. Collaborate on Middle Market Renewals to assist in rewrites. Develops relationships with insurance company underwriters through fair negotiations, high quality submissions, and meaningful meetings and visits. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Collaborates with other department leaders. About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience required. P&C licensing required. Preferred: Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
