Logistics Analyst LMI seeks a Logistics Analyst to provide support to our Army client onsite at Fort Lee, VA. The position supports the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) Organizational Development Directorate in the assessment of force structure, Total Army Analysis (TAA), and Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) maintenance, ammunition, supply, and transportation requirements. Successful candidates will demonstrate competency in critical thinking and data analysis while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position cannot be worked remotely. Responsibilities Analyze tactical and operational requirements in MDO scenarios; identify vulnerabilities and propose solutions for future operations. Review Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC) and calculate new maintenance Manpower Allocation Criteria (MARC) based on MDO requirements. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, develop formulas, algorithms, and simulations to allocate resources (manning /equipment) across the battlefield. Participate and contribute in MDO concept working groups and operational planning team (OPT) sessions. Communicate with the client and stakeholders through written reports and oral presentations. Participate in ammunition studies, including short ton requirements for existing and theoretical combat platforms, force sets, and operational plans. Document and brief analytical findings; build and upkeep robust data files tracking changes between existing and emerging force structure. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Degree in engineering, operations research, mathematics, business analytics or a related discipline preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience. Understanding of the Army's logistics structures, concepts, and support programs (desired). Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in excel, Power BI, Phyton, SQL and R in order to conduct analysis, create databases and dashboards. Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training. Superior communication skills, both oral and written. Current U.S. Government security clearance preferred, ability to obtain one is required. Available for occasional travel.
