Qualifications:Required: ADN Must be I.V. certified from an approved facility or must complete the requirements for I.V. certification during orientation. Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration skills. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in meeting system staffing needs as requiredPreferred: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN is required or must be in progress. 2 years of Operating Room experience Will consider new graduates but will need to successfully complete a periop 101 courseCertifications and Licenses Required: CNOR Certification preferred Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement BLS from the American Heart AssociationScheduling Requirements: Day Shift, 3 days a week, 12-hour shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm Monday Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation Full Time On-Call requiredEssential Functions: As an OR Nurse, you will participate in complex surgeries using some of the latest technology in our state-of-the-art surgical suites. An OR Nurse plays an integral part of the perioperative team and advocates for patients undergoing anesthesia and/or sedation.
