Scanning Operator SPS Global is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Scanning Operator to support on-site business operations in Lake Mary, Florida. This role plays a key part in mail processing, document handling, business service center operations, and office support services while maintaining a professional and customer-first environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured setting, demonstrates strong operational accuracy, and consistently delivers exceptional service to both client and SPS employees. Job Overview The Scanning Operator provides comprehensive office and mail services, supporting inbound and outbound mail processing, shipping and receiving, document handling, business service center operations, and supply management. This role also serves as a cross-trained team member, providing reception/concierge coverage and light facilities support as operational needs require. Reports To: Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership What You'll Do Mail & Document Operations Receive inbound mail and packages; sort and accurately input items into chain-of-custody software Manage outgoing mail and package transactions Perform shipping and receiving duties for materials and supplies Notify employees upon receipt of inbound deliveries Distribute mail and packages to company personnel Serve as point of contact for mail and package inquiries Business Service Center & Equipment Support Perform daily key operations of multifunction devices (MFDs), ensuring functionality and replenishing toner and paper Assist with copy/print orders and monitor equipment for satisfactory performance Submit work orders for service requests Maintain the Business Service Center area in a neat and orderly manner Office & Hospitality Support Monitor, replenish, and order office supplies (pens, paper, toner, etc.) Service and restock pantry, barista, conference, kitchen, and meeting areas Perform meeting room and conference room setups Assist with building occupant moves within assigned facilities Perform light maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned Client Service & Cross-Functional Support Deliver 5-star customer service across all forms of communication Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams Maintain professionalism and composure when handling sensitive matters Provide reception/concierge (front-of-office) coverage as needed Train backup personnel and provide guidance on policies and procedures Proactively seek additional work during downtime What We're Looking For Required High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work assigned hours as determined by manager Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and work independently Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn required systems Professional appearance and adherence to company policies Preferred 1+ years of related work experience Working knowledge of multifunction device (MFD) equipment Experience with shipping and receiving procedures Ability to validate packing slips and ensure material accuracy Competencies Strong customer service orientation Attention to detail and operational accuracy Organizational and multitasking capability Independent and accountable work style Problem-solving ability Professional demeanor and reliability Physical Requirements Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently Ability to move packages using a wheeled cart (up to 60 lbs. capacity) Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods Manual dexterity for operating office machinery Travel: None or negligible What We Offer Career Growth: Opportunities to expand operational skills across mail, scanning, and office services.
