We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Senior Lead Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic Systems. In this key position, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of transformative AI solutions that harness the power of generative models and intelligent agents to revolutionize our products and operations. As a valued member of our team, you will delve into groundbreaking research, evolving projects from foundational concepts to production-ready applications while tackling diverse datasets and complex challenges within the oncology field. You will mentor junior team members and work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and product teams to implement innovative predictive modeling techniques, especially from complex, often unstructured oncology data. Responsibilities Research & Development: Drive the creation of advanced Generative AI models, including LLMs and diffusion models, focused on solving critical business challenges. LLM Expertise: Design and implement Large Language Models for applications like natural language processing, summarization, and question-answering, with an emphasis on extracting insights from unstructured clinical data. Agentic Systems Design: Develop intelligent systems capable of autonomous decision-making and reasoning, using LLMs as foundational components. Predictive Modeling: Craft advanced predictive capabilities from structured and unstructured oncology data to enhance clinical decision-making. Prompt Engineering: Innovate strategies to optimize LLM performance through effective prompt engineering techniques. Data Strategy for GenAI: Partner with data engineers to implement tailored data collection and preprocessing strategies for the training of generative models. Model Evaluation & Deployment: Define robust evaluation metrics and oversee the deployment and ongoing refinement of AI models in production. Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into our offerings and provide mentorship to junior data scientists. Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of advancements in GenAI and LLMs, proactively identifying new opportunities and technologies. Ethical AI: Champion responsible AI development, addressing biases and promoting transparency throughout the process. Qualifications 8-12 years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning, with a strong emphasis on deep learning and natural language processing. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience with Generative AI models, including Transformers and GANs. Extensive experience with Large Language Models, including fine-tuning expertise and architectural knowledge. Proven capability in designing and deploying agentic systems with decision-making functionalities. Expertise in working with unstructured oncology data, deriving profound insights. Proficiency in Python along with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Familiarity with cloud platforms for deploying AI models. Strong problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities. Preferred background in healthcare or life sciences, especially oncology. Experience in MLOps and distributed computing frameworks is advantageous. Contributions to open-source AI projects will be highly regarded.
