Job Description We are seeking a high-energy individual to drive business development activities that enhance our CSS NA Fusion SaaS Services business. This role will leverage knowledge of market demand for Fusion SaaS services, Oracle applications, and technology sales priorities. The selected candidate will play a vital role in executing a dynamic business development plan within Oracle, while continuously improving our approach. Regular communication with both individual sales team members and executive leadership will be essential for success. Key Elements of the Role: Cross Line of Business Define and drive SaaS services messaging across sales and engineering teams. Drive awareness of CSS service offerings within Oracle’s sales and engineering organizations. Work across lines of business to position CSS SaaS services at targeted customers. Collaboration with Internal CSS Sales Teams: Create standard SaaS services messaging, including playbooks, pitch decks, and discovery guides. Educate the sales team about CSS SaaS services. Identify, position, and advance sales opportunities related to SaaS services. Serve as a subject matter expert in executive-level customer discussions regarding CSS SaaS services. Responsible for executive-level reporting on leads and opportunities in CSS SaaS. Overall management of CSS SaaS services opportunities. Measurable outcomes include: The number of xLOB sales representatives engaged. The number of opportunities developed for CSS NA Sales teams. Standardized dashboards on xLOB conversation health and other key metrics, with monthly/quarterly presentations to leadership. Responsibilities As a Business Development Specialist, you will be assigned to strategic accounts often grouped by industry where Oracle’s presence is growing. Acting as the primary liaison among Delivery, Sales, and Oracle Development, you will generate business opportunities through prospecting and leveraging third-party partners. You will implement proactive strategies to establish Oracle solutions as the preferred choice for customers. Supporting account representatives, you will provide insights on how our products meet specific needs and assist in achieving large revenue opportunities. Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in IT services sales, specifically in SaaS services. Proficient with cloud platforms (OCI, GCP, Azure, AWS) and on-premise enterprise application management. Experience in designing sales deals or delivering services for SaaS or on-premise applications (ERP, SCM, HCM, CX). Familiarity with contract management and constructing TCO analyses for complex service offers. Experience with large-scale IT project deals, including major transformations and migrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into technical requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts to varied audiences. BA/BS degree preferred. Salary Information: The hiring range for this position in the US is from $126,600 to $207,300 per year. Potential for equity and commission is also available, generally with a pay mix of 60/40 to 70/30.
