In the role of Equipment and Construction Management Manager, you will focus on our Equipment and Construction Center of Excellence, engaging in diverse client equipment and construction sourcing and cost optimization projects. You will collaborate closely with clients and suppliers to advance project initiatives, leading consulting, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis pivotal to strategic client decisions. Additionally, you will significantly contribute to enhancing the expertise within Accenture's Equipment and Construction Center of Excellence and catalog knowledge to aid business development while scaling our capabilities in this field. The work: Developing project plans and guiding portions of the client engagement Managing project support resources and liaising with subject matter experts within and outside the organization Crafting innovative cost reduction strategies and recommendations Presenting insights to client executives Building consensus among client stakeholders Fostering and nurturing client relationships while enhancing practice development through improved operations, intellectual capital, and deliverables Evaluating client expenditures to identify cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities Driving strategic sourcing initiatives across companies and private equity portfolios Reengineering procurement processes to enhance efficiency Leading spend analyses and savings opportunity diagnostics Providing thought leadership and benchmarking in Resins sourcing and/or Plastics manufacturing Creating and curating deliverables (e.g., POV slides, case studies, whitepapers) to encapsulate category knowledge and support internal knowledge sharing and business development efforts Travel Requirements Travel is an essential aspect of this role, anticipated to range from 10-50% based on project needs. Here's what you need: A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience A minimum of 3 years of procurement and sourcing experience, particularly in equipment & construction negotiations A minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), showcasing the ability to develop and interpret intricate analytical models and ad-hoc reports A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years); if holding an associate degree, at least 6 years of work experience is required Bonus points if: You demonstrate strong client-facing skills and excel at establishing and maintaining client relationships You possess exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) and can confidently present to senior executives You possess strong analytical capabilities You can effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously You thrive in an entrepreneurial, performance-oriented setting and can drive innovation and process enhancements You have experience utilizing visualization tools (like Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) You hold an MBA or equivalent graduate degree You have previously worked as an Equipment or Construction Sourcing Manager with consulting experience, merging consultancy insights with hands-on equipment or construction sourcing knowledge You are a Mission Critical Equipment/CapEx Procurement Manager with a background in procurement management/directorship within industries heavily investing in capital equipment You are an SME in Construction Services/General Contracting/Subcontracting with experience in operations, cost estimation, financial analysis, procurement, and supply chain management, or as an MEP engineer (Mechanical, Electrical) Applicants with experience in High Tech, Data Centers, Life Sciences, Utilities, and Industrials industries are preferred. Compensation at Accenture is competitive and varies based on numerous factors, including office location, role, skill set, and experience level.
