Job Title: WelderJob Description We are seeking a dependable MIG Welder to join a manufacturing team in a production environment. This role focuses on performing MIG welding, inspecting and finishing welds, handling materials, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. The ideal candidate is qualitydriven, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with heavy materials in a fastpaced shop environment. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding to join metal components according to specifications. Follow process sheets, blueprints, and verbal instructions to complete production tasks. Inspect welds throughout the process to ensure quality and accuracy. Use grinding tools to clean, smooth, and finish welds as required. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances. Move large or heavy parts manually or with the use of cranes or lifting assistance. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety rules and PPE requirements. Support other departments or production areas as needed. Work Environment Work in a fast-paced shop environment, handling heavy materials with the assistance of cranes or lifting equipment. Follow all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottdale, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
