Gilbane Development Company is searching for a skilled and visionary Director of Public-Private Partnerships to spearhead and enhance our P3 initiatives across various sectors including local and state government, K-12 education, and healthcare. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in managing sizeable infrastructure projects, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving business expansion through innovative P3 solutions. As a key leader, you will have the opportunity to: Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement the company's P3 strategy, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and market opportunities. Project Development: Oversee the identification, assessment, and development of diverse P3 projects in sectors such as transportation, civil infrastructure, utilities, and public facilities. Partnership Management: Establish and nurture robust relationships with public agencies, private sector partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Financial Structuring: Lead financial structuring and investment activities related to P3 projects, including overseeing bidding processes, commercial negotiations, and securing equity investments. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to project structuring and investment teams, promoting high performance and achievement of desired project outcomes. Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and create strategies for entry and success in these areas. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualifications Master's Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in P3, infrastructure development, finance, or a closely related field, with a strong history of successful project delivery. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Extensive understanding of P3 procurement and commercial structures. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent financial acumen with experience in structuring intricate financial transactions. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in building and sustaining strategic partnerships. A proven track record of managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. Professional engineering license or certification is preferred. Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and experience working with public agencies. Understanding of regulatory frameworks in the United States. The salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, alongside internal equity and market alignment. For positions based in New York City, salary ranges from $225,000 - $300,000. For Rhode Island, salary ranges from $180,000 - $250,000. For Massachusetts, salary ranges from $200,000 - $280,000. All positions come with a comprehensive benefits and retirement program.
