Triage Registered Nurse Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our WOODLAND PRIME 400 facility. This job is REMOTE. FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 4 Shift Details: OPT, minimum requirement of 4 shifts per month. Willing to work night hours, especially from midnight to 8am. When no available night hours within posted schedule, one need to be able to pick up two 8 hours shifts on weekend (am/pm shift) and any other 2 shifts on weekdays, monthly. 1 major and 1 minor holidays as assigned. Job Summary Responsible for triaging incoming calls to the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin (F&MCW) After Hours Answering Service from patients, caregivers, or other health care providers. Triage RN assesses the patient's needs and provides appropriate clinical options through the guidance of the triage protocols which may include education regarding immediate care advice and preventative behavior. Patient calls to the After Hours Answering Service are documented using a telephone encounter in Epic, the electronic medical record. Experience Description A minimum of five years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care is required. Seven or more years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care is preferred. Education Description Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Licensure Description Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert Health Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $29.70 - $46.04. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
